Our practice will be individualized to meet the needs of all practitioners.
Daily sunrise kirtan will be open to any students who wish to commence their practice with traditional Sanskrit chants.
Meditation practice will take place as a natural flow both before and after asana practice.
Practical methods for gaining a deeper understanding and appreciation of ourselves and the ways in which our practice affects our lives will be explored through the lens of Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras.
David will also offer a special life drawing session in the extensive gardens for those who want to get started in their sketchbooks, capturing the landscapeand flora in pencil and watercolor. Don’t forget to bring your journals!
David Michael Hollander, RYT 500, has been teaching yoga for over 14 years. He offers weekly kirtans with his guitar before asana practice in several New York City studios. David is also a painter and has taught drawing and painting for over ten years.
